In Network with Most Insurance Companies
As a courtesy to our patients, we are happy to help verify your insurance benefits. Please call our office so that someone can assist you in finding out if a visit at our clinic would be covered. We are currently contracted providers for Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Connecticare, Healthnet and HUSKY-Connecticut Medicaid Program. Other plans often have out-of-network benefits, for which we may bill your insurance company directly.

Specialty Diagnostic Laboratory
Northeast Natural Medicine, LLC offers patients access to some of the most innovative and least invasive diagnostic laboratory testing in healthcare today. Women can assess hormonal health with saliva, vegetarians can assess adequate dietary protein with a fingerstick, and children with ADHD can have their neurotransmitters evaluated with a urine sample. When testing for elusive infectious organisms like Lyme disease, we generally send samples to the single laboratory with the repeated highest rating for sensitivity and specificity of tick-borne illnesses in the country. So if your needs require testing for heavy metals, mitochondrial health or conventional bloodwork at contracted discount rates, we may be of service, with a number of panels being reimbursed by health insurance companies.

In keeping with our vision of blending traditional medicinal wisdom with the latest advances in modern medicine, our office has been outfitted with electronic medical records and "Patient Intake' forms through a free, HIPAA-certified Personal Health Record management system that patients can access using the Internet at home. To complement such technological advances, Northeast Natural Medicine, LLC is utilizing a "cloud-based" business phone system which integrates telephone, fax and Internet services into one seamless and efficient communication system allowing for faster information, feedback, and results.
